In September 1986, Elder Lampley was called by GOD into the ministry. While at Mount Calvary Church of God in Christ he was ordained a Trustee and a Deacon in 1990. Growing further in the plan that God had for Elder Lampley was ordained an Elder in September 1994.
Elder Lampley graduated from Benjamin Franklin in 1996. Continuing further in his education Elder Lampley completed a four year theology course at Main Bible Institute where he studied many biblical course work including doctrine, mission work, Bible history and other practical subjects. In addition, Elder Lampley received a Baccalaureate of Arts and a Doctorate of Divinity from Jameson College. Elder Lampley also received many certificates and awards including an Evangelical Training Association Certificate, a Christian service Award from the 3rd Senatorial District, a Christian Service Award from the Council of Clergy and in 2000 he was awarded the Chaplain Award from Main Bible Institute.
In addition to his duties as Pastor, Pastor Lampley is an Intercessory Prayer at Noon Day Prayer at Faith Hope and Love Church of God in Christ under the Leadership of Mother Marlene D. Talley. He is also a faithful Prayer Warrior with the Interdenominational Prayer Ministry with Mother Thelma Bady. Pastor Lampley also works diligently with the Prison Ministry under the leadership of Minister Rodney Barnes, Mount Airy Church of God in Christ.
Pastor Lampley appointments include Sunday School Superintendent of the Konoia Jurisdiction under the leadership of Prelate Bishop Ernest C. Morris, founder and Pastor of Mount Airy Church of God in Christ and Pastor Lampley is a member of the Advisory Board of Women Christian Alliance located at 17th and Cecil B. Moore Avenue.
